Privacy Policy

This privacy policy is founder-review draft copy and is not approved for launch until legal review is complete.

The final version must match the actual data collected by the iOS app, API, Vendor Hub, admin dashboard, analytics, messaging, support, AI, payment, shipping, and notification systems.

We may collect account details, contact details, delivery addresses, recipient details, preferences, wishlist activity, order history, payment provider identifiers, support messages, device tokens, notification preferences, and security logs.

We may process product and catalogue data from vendors, including Shopify integration metadata needed to sync products, stock, fulfilment, and order state.

We use data to operate accounts, recommend gifts, process checkout, route orders to vendors, send service notifications, provide support, prevent fraud, moderate abuse, improve product quality, and satisfy legal obligations.

AI enrichment and recommendation systems may use product, preference, catalogue, and interaction signals. Sensitive secrets and payment card data are handled by providers rather than stored directly by Gifter.

Users can request data export, correction, deletion, notification preference changes, and account closure from the app or support flow.

Some commerce, tax, fraud, dispute, audit, and legal records may be retained where required, but personal data should be minimized or anonymized when deletion is approved.
